In May 2021, MF Jebsen International Limited, the exclusive designated dealer of Aston Martin sports cars in Hong Kong & Macau, donated the Special Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition in support of the local wildlife and environment. The Gulf Blue Edition Vantage was open for public auction, supervised by international auction house Bonhams and was on display in the iconic lobby of The Peninsula Hong Kong.

The auction received overwhelming responses from philanthropists, wildlife supporters and car lovers worldwide. Held online from 7th May to 5th June by Bonhams, after rounds of bidding, the Aston Martin Gulf Blue Edition Vantage was successfully sold for HK$1.2 million (excl. tax) to a gentleman, Mr. Jonathan Smith, in the UK.

Half of the proceeds will fund projects for the protection of endangered species and the restoration of the local ecosystem by supporting a range of programmes run by Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The cheque was presented to KFBG on 10 June 2021 at The Peninsula Hong Kong.
Mr. Smith also selected to donate another half of proceeds amounting to HK$600,000 to World Land Trust, which is an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats. The funds will support the project in Laguna Grande, Caribbean Guatemala to protect the landscape, animal species and to expand the reserve area. The above is the cheque presentation ceremony to World Land Trust on 23 November 2021 at Aston Martin showroom in Hong Kong.
