to Stop Extinction
Our latest auction received overwhelming responses from philanthropists, wildlife supporters and car lovers worldwide. Held from 7th May to 5th June 2021 by Bonhams' online auction, after rounds of bidding, the Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition was successfully sold for HK$1.2 million (excl. tax) to a gentleman, Mr. Jonathan Smith, in the United Kingdom.
Half of the proceeds funded projects for the protection of endangered species and the restoration of the local ecosystem by supporting a range of programmes run by Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG).
Mr. Clifford Wong, Group Managing Director of MF Jebsen Group presented a cheque amounting to HK$600,000 to Dr. Michael Wong, Head of Partnership, KFBG on 10 June 2021 at The Peninsula Hong Kong.
Mr. Smith also selected to donate another half of proceeds amounting to HK$600,000 to World Land Trust which is an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats.
On 23 November 2021, Mrs. Judith Supnet Jebsen on behalf of MF Jebsen Group and MF Jebsen Nature Conservation Foundation presented a cheque to Mr. Patrick Sherriff, World Land Trust Ambassador at the Aston Martin showroom in Happy Valley, Hong Kong. The funds will support the project in Laguna Grande, Caribbean Guatemala to protect the landscape, animal species and to expand the reserve area.
